The purpose of this policy is to maintain a safe and respectful work environment for all employees, free from sexual harassment and any form of misconduct. This policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment.
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, vendors, customers, and any other individuals who interact with our company. It covers conduct that occurs in the workplace, at company-sponsored events, and any other work-related settings.
All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a
professional and respectful manner at all times. Any form of aggression,
harassment, or hostile behavior towards colleagues, customers, or other
stakeholders will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disciplinary
action, up to and including termination
Sexual harassment is unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. It includes, but is not limited to:
- Unwanted sexual advances or requests for sexual favors
- Inappropriate touching, groping, or physical contact
- Sexual comments, jokes, or gestures
- Displaying or sharing sexually explicit materials
- Leering, whistling, or making suggestive comments
- Threats, intimidation, or retaliation for rejecting sexual advances
Zero tolerance means that any incident of sexual harassment, regardless of severity, will be met with immediate and appropriate action. This can include disciplinary measures up to and including termination of employment.
- Prohibition of Sexual Harassment: Sexual harassment in any form is strictly prohibited. This applies to interactions between employees, as well as interactions with contractors, vendors, customers, and other third parties.
- Zero Tolerance: Our company has a zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment. Any reported incident will be taken seriously and investigated promptly. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against those found to have engaged in harassment.
- Retaliation Prohibited: Retaliation against anyone who reports sexual harassment or participates in an investigation is strictly prohibited. Any act of retaliation will result in disciplinary action.
- Confidentiality: All reports of sexual harassment will be handled with the utmost confidentiality. Information will only be shared with individuals involved in the investigation and resolution process.
Employees who experience or witness sexual harassment should report the incident as soon as possible. Reports can be made to:
- Immediate Supervisor or Manager
Reports can be made in person, by phone, or via email. Anonymous reports can be submitted through our designated reporting system.
Acknowledgment of Report: Upon receiving a report of sexual harassment, the company will acknowledge receipt and inform the complainant of the next steps in the process.
Investigation: A thorough and impartial investigation will be conducted by a qualified individual or team. This may include interviews with the complainant, the alleged harasser, and any witnesses.
Findings and Action: Based on the findings of the investigation, appropriate action will be taken. This can include disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of employment. The complainant and the alleged harasser will be informed of the outcome.
Follow-Up: The company will follow up with the complainant to ensure that the harassment has stopped and no retaliation has occurred.
All employees are responsible for:
- Understanding and complying with this policy
- Reporting any incidents of sexual harassment
- Cooperating with investigations and maintaining confidentiality
- Respecting the rights and dignity of all colleagues
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices. Employees will be informed of any changes to the policy.
